The product

The wolfseal KB 8 roll consists of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel completely coated on both sides with a protective film on both sides. The wolfseal special composite coating ensures that construction joints are impermeable to water thanks to the bond with the fresh concrete at an embedment depth of at least 3 cm.

The roll is available in 10 m lengths. The height of the joint system is 8 cm with a thickness of approx. 1.2 mm.

Tested water pressure of 2.5 bar (permissible according to abP 1.0 bar, this corresponds to a 2.5-fold safety on the test pressure).

The field of application

wolfseal KB 8 is suitable for use in floor slab offsets and for sealing construction joints in wall/ceiling connections. Due to the low embedment depth in both concrete components, special and complex reinforcement is not necessary. The wolfseal KB 8 roll is embedded up to halfway into the components and therefore has a greater contact with the fresh concrete than the KB 16 with a embedment depth of 4 cm per component.

wolfseal KB 8 roll is resistant to all organic waste water (according to the chemical inventory list).

The processing

Once the protective film has been removed, it is installed by inserting it into the fresh concrete or fixing it in the wall crown using the wolfseal retaining brackets before the wall is concreted. The ends of the KB 8 roll are each overlapped by 8 cm, pressed firmly together and secured with the supplied impact protection.

The processing guidelines must be observed.
