System description Thepro DDS plinth waterproofing
Architects find our thepro DDS plinth waterproofing excellent.
The professional waterproofing of buildings is an important planning task. The transition from the basement to the first floor is particularly important. According to DIN 18533, building components in contact with the ground must be permanently sealed against water, which can act in different ways.
In order to achieve maximum safety in this known weak point, we have developed a system that seals the base of buildings with and without basements sustainably and safely, while at the same time saving costs and time.

Thepro DDS base elements consist of the wolfseal fresh concrete composite waterproofing membrane and thermal insulation. The two components are already connected to each other at the factory so that they are safe to walk behind.
The thepro DDS base solution can be used for buildings with or without basements.

Functionality
Thepro DDS is a combination of the wolfseal fresh concrete composite waterproofing membrane and XPS thermal insulation.
It can be used for floor slabs without basements as well as for slab edge formwork. Thepro DDS is available in all commercially available insulation thicknesses.
The wolfseal fresh concrete composite sealing membrane creates a watertight connection between the thermal insulation and the face of the floor/ceiling slab (1) as well as to the splash water protection in the plinth area (3) and connects both surfaces to each other in a watertight manner (2). Doors or floor-to-ceiling windows can be connected easily and watertight to the top of thepro DDS.
