The product

The wolfseal KB 8 element consists of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel that is fully coated on both sides with a protective film on both sides. The wolfseal special composite coating ensures that construction joints are impermeable to water thanks to the bond with the fresh concrete at an embedment depth of at least 3 cm.

The elements are 2 m long, 8 cm high and
approx. 1.2 mm thick in a packaging unit of 150 running meters including butt clamps.

Tested water pressure of 2.5 bar (permissible according to abP 1.0 bar, this corresponds to a 2.5-fold safety on the test pressure).

The field of application

wolfseal KB 8 is suitable for use with floor slab offsets and for sealing construction joints in wall/ceiling connections. Due to the low embedment depth in both concrete components, special and complex reinforcement routing is not necessary.
wolfseal KB 8 is embedded halfway into each component and therefore has a greater contact with the fresh concrete than KB 16 with an embedment depth of 4 cm per component.

wolfseal KB 8 is resistant to all organic waste water (according to the chemical inventory list).

The processing

After removing the protective film,
is installed by inserting it into the fresh concrete
or fixing it in the wall crown using the
wolfseal retaining brackets before the wall is concreted. The elements are each overlapped by 8 cm, pressed firmly together and secured with the supplied impact protection.

The processing guidelines must be observed.
