The product
The wolfseal KB 16 consists of fully coated, hot-dip galvanized sheet steel elements on both sides. At the top, the wolfseal KB 16 element is equipped with a protective film on both sides, which is provided with a tear-off edge in the overlap area – at the bottom with white protective paper. The wolfseal special composite coating ensures that construction joints are impermeable to water thanks to the bond with the fresh concrete at an embedment depth of just 3 cm.
The elements are 2 m long, 16.7 cm high and approx. 1.2 mm thick.
With an embedment depth of 3 cm, the wolfseal KB 16 is tested up to 5.0 bar.
The field of application
wolfseal KB 16 is used in all construction joints of water-impermeable structures, horizontal or vertical, for pressing and non-pressing water.
wolfseal KB 16 is resistant to all organic waste water (according to the chemical inventory list).
The groundwater compatibility of wolfseal KB 16 has been tested and is given.
The processing
wolfseal KB 16 is installed on the upper reinforcement layer in the middle of the wall before concreting after the lower protective paper has been removed. The individual elements are each overlapped by 8 cm, pressed firmly together and secured with the supplied joint protection. For water columns of more than 8 m, the joint must also be secured with joint grout.
The wolfseal easyfix retaining brackets available as accessories are used for fastening. When installing in wall/wall and floor/floor joints, the elements are fixed in the middle between the support. Crossing points are secured with the wolfseal cross clamp supplied.
The processing guidelines must be observed.
